Established in 2020, Project3R™ is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (tax-ID number 85-1417194) dedicated to recycling and environmental awareness/education around the world.
Project3R’s founder Ryan Hickman, is responsible for recycling nearly two million cans and bottles in an effort to keep pollution out of our oceans and landfills. With his story going viral in 2017, Ryan has become an international icon for recycling around the world. Ryan and Project3R™ lead and organize beach clean up events in his community and he travels internationally speaking about the importance of recycling and saving our planet from plastic pollution. Ryan and Project3R™ have been instrumental in starting school recycling programs worldwide and environmental education classes in Southern California.
Recycling is the single most important action a society can do to simultaneously help the environment, manufacturing, the economy, and to prevent unnecessary waste from going into our landfills, rivers, lakes and oceans.
Project3R™ supports and leads community clean up projects and hands-on environmental education programs. These amazing programs have inspired students in classroom events to protect the planet. Project3R™ is looking forward to growing and making a difference around the world but Ryan needs your help to make that happen. Please consider donating to help Project3R™ fund community clean up projects and to provide support for recycling education programs geared to teaching the importance of a clean environment.
Project3R™ was proud to be selected as the 36th Senate District 2022 California Nonprofit of the Year by Senator Patricia Bates.
“If a kid like me can make a difference, anyone can too. When we all do just a little bit, it adds up to a huge difference. Thanks for helping me clean up our planet”. -Ryan Hickman
