This was definitely a busy weekend. Six pick ups from Ryans customers on Saturday and two on Sunday followed up with a trip to a few rePlanet locations to recycle all the cans, bottles and glass. We got really lucky and didn’t have anyone in front of us today at the redemption center so that was really cool. Today Ryan got his all time record of $385.96! Thank you to George and everyone at El Niguel Country Club as well as all of Ryan’s regular customers who call us to come pick up from them. We couldn’t do it without you! How much longer before he breaks the $400 mark?

This 7 Year Old Already Runs A Recycling Business, And It’s Thriving

When he was just three and a half years old, Ryan Hickman’s dad, Damion, took him to the recycling center near their home in California to cash in some cans and bottles. It proved to be a fateful visit, because the next day Ryan decided his future was in recycling. He visited his neighbors, collecting their recyclables and returning them.
